And sure enough, perhaps two hours later a shadow passes over the window, the soft beating of wings quickening for a moment before disappearing. Then, a knocking on the castle door. ]

Cassandra answers the door, one hand resting on the handle, and the... well, there's only that hand to use. She keeps her other arm folded against her chest.]

Hey. [All the same, she gives Fran a smile.] Nice to see you holding up.

[ Fran's lips curl for a moment, passing Cass a soft smile when the door opened and doing their best to keep that positivity as they motion to step inside. ]

It's nice to see you too... [ Their legs are back, but those horns are still missing. Slow growers, it seems. Thankfully, Fran can wear baggy pants that obscure their legs. ] I'm getting by, at least. Have you been alright?

I've been... better.

[she shrugs, noncommittally. What happened was still fresh, even if her scars didn't show. At least, as she spoke, Fran would see Cassandra had full rows of teeth again.

She holds the door until Fran's inside, and heads towards the kitchen.]

Do you want anything? We have plenty of teas. And mint.

Better is... Good.

[ Their head bobs. Fran's marks are mostly hidden by their pants, thankfully. The slight recovery offered by the most recent fog was welcome, even if it wasn't perfect. ]

Ah- Some tea would be lovely... thank you.

[ And with that they step inside, wings tucking in tight before rustling back to a comfortable size behind them. That timid softness still seems to remain, the kelpie's still a bit shook up over the whole thing. But some company is better than none. ]

Thank you for letting me visit, by the way. It's a nice looking home.
