Oh- ... There's more? Alright, I'm gonna head outside (bringing the device with me), I'll see you when you get here.

[And that is EXACTLY what they do, a pale-blue horse-nerd sitting on the edge of the treehouse clearing, looking rather brave with a fuzzy creature beside them.

what even IS THAT. A bear? Nope, just a dog, a very big and fluffy dog keeping Fran company because it can tell exactly how the strange fey is feeling, both of them keeping watch for Judai.]

[And here's the more red horse nerd... he doesn't have his fish here, so he's galloping in his full travel form. As soon as he gets close, he shifts to his more humanoid form, a grim expression on his face.]

[Grimboy, meet sadboy. There's some deep bags under those eyes from nearly two weeks of little sleep, for now they're sitting down, but as Judai approaches Fran climbs to their feet and stands at the edge of the barrier, offering out a hand to lead him in.

The odd intro at least brings a soft smile to their lips, they appreciate the effort.]

I'm a horse person, just like you... But all animals are fine.

[Newf was just what Loki got for them. Speaking of which, the big fluffy dog's tail is wagging, patiently waiting beside Fran but clearly very interested in this newcomer.]

Let's go inside, then...

[Honestly, this is his first trip out of Dyster he's had in a very long time and the fact that there's sunlight feels strange. Still, Judai's face is calm. despite the dark shroud that hangs about his face. Judai's also been having very little sleep, but more from nightmares anything else which he's used to hiding.]

Your barrier is not going to bounce me off then?

[Judai follows him along, holding his hand out for Newf. Judai's always been good with animals. Cats... Crocodiles. He was good with them all.]

[Their head gives a light shake, offering a momentary shrug of apology. It's not just tiredness in those eyes, there's a ring of redness from a few days of tears, exacerbated by the unpleasant conditions, some of the lines still linger on their face.]

Not while I'm here with you... Sorry, it takes a while to get used to someone new, so I'll have to meet you out here for now.

[There will be a light tingling sensation, like stepping through an invisible bubble of some sort as he is let through the barrier, otherwise everything else is the same.

Newf is well trained and generally sticks to Fran, though he does indeed venture over into the hand to let Judai pet him. Big, soft, and supportive. Yup, not a bad companion to have on these lonely days. The tree has, notably, grown out some tunnels and ramps that offer more dog friendly ways to access the tree.]

[He can tell. It's been an extremely rough month for the two of them.]

You make it sound as if it was something alive... [Judai glances around the invisible barrier.] So would it kick me out if I became something... dangerous?

[It's not a bad sensation, in all honesty. Once he's through, he's through. Judai shakes his fluffy seaweed hair out and follows over to Fran. He smiles at Newf. Very good.]

What have you been doing these days? Just you and Newf?
